We are always learning new things about farming practices that will produce healthier, more nutritious food.
Organic seeds and thriving transplants are important, but it all starts with the health of the soil. Just like our bodies, if the soil is not receiving the micronutrients it needs to thrive, along with the right amount of clean water, fresh air and sunshine, it will succumb to disease.
This is not a one size fits all business. Again, just like people, we have similar needs, but we also have very specific requirements to thrive.
We sell our sunflowers at Genesee Valley Florist and share our produce through sales at home at a brand new farm stand built by York Central School students. We also give weekly donations to food pantries and work with SUNY Geneseo students who are concerned with food insecurity.
Our garlic is a big hit! In addition to here at our farm, you can buy it at Honeygirl Gourmet on Main Street in Geneseo or Butter Meat Co in Perry.
